What is The Script Vault?
Script Registration and Deposit The Script Vault offers a script
registration and deposit service that helps to safeguard
your copyright by registering the author of a piece of work and also
establishing the date it was written; this registration can prove to be invaluable
in the event of a copyright dispute. Our Script Registration service is
approved by the Writers' Guild of Great Britain and costs just £10
per script (it could even be free if you subscribe to our file backup service).
Your script will then be deposited in our 'Script Vault' for
ten years - that's just £1 per year! For details either

The script registration service can be used to register any piece of
original work including scripts, plays, synopses, treatments,
book manuscripts, showreels, videos, CDs, tapes, ideas, concepts or any other format which
the client chooses to record their original idea. We do however recommend you read the

'Off-site' File Backup
We also offer an invaluable 'off-site' file backup facility.
This ensures that in the event of fire, PC theft, virus
attack, or any other such disaster, your
work will be safe. You can send files by e-mail
or disc and we'll store them in our 'Script Vault'. We'll
also e-mail you every month and remind you to send us your
recent files. The cost of this service starts from just £2.50

Script Reading and Appraisal
Another service we offer is an inexpensive script reading
service where writers can receive constructive feedback
and advice on their work by professional writers and university
